The Faculty Club was very excited to join the U of T Bee Education Enthusiast Society (B.E.E.S.).  Three hives were installed on the rooftop in 2013 and the bees have been very busy producing organic honey for everyone to enjoy!

"This project has been an amazing sucess.  It is great watching club members climb to the top of the building to see for themselves what the buzz is all about.  It has brought young and old together and is a constant source of conversation in and around the club," comments Leanne Pepper, the Faculty Club's GM.

In October 2014 the club hosted a Honey Tasting event with a number of types of honey produced on the university campus.  Chef Guy and his culinary team were delighted in preparing delicious ‘honey’ inspired menus for the members and their guest to enjoy.  "It is great cooking with local honey" says Chef Guy,"the Faculty Club looks for inspiration in local and seasonal products".
